Start-to-finish instructions
List each real source
Create clear names for website, referral, marketplace, phone, social, partner, or paid-campaign sources.
Create an inbound connection
Use the generated webhook address or integration instructions. Treat its token like a password.
Send a safe test
Submit one clearly labeled test lead with a unique email or phone.
Verify routing
Confirm the company, source, owner, status, notes, and notification are correct.
Monitor and rotate
Review failures and duplicates. Replace a token if it was exposed and update the sending system immediately.
What success looks like
- The test lead appears once in the correct pipeline.
- The source and contact details are accurate.
Common problems
- Do not publish webhook tokens in screenshots or Help content.
- If the same lead appears twice, check retries and idempotency before changing the customer record.
